Jack in NYC

Just so you know, I'm going to brag about my talented husband a little bit right now. In the last week or so, Jack has started to wince/shudder every time I say the word "graduation" in front of him. Because that means real life is beginning! That means you need to have an answer when people ask what your plans are for the fall. That means you'll probably have some babies in the next five years or so and you need to feed them! That means that whatever you do or don't succeed at in the next few years could determine the outcome of the rest of your life! You know, the usual intimidation of real life...but quadrupled because did you know that he is a film student? Ambitious, right? But then... we found out that he got into an awesome program at Columbia!!! There are only twelve spots in the program, so we weren't letting our hopes get too high. It's a six-week summer program for T.V. writing (what he dreams of doing one day--and now it seems so real!) and he'll get to learn from real-life professionals and work on a script that he can use to apply for real jobs!  Sadly, I will be in Provo finishing up some classes while he is there, but thank goodness for skype! And thank goodness for husbands who are brave enough to follow their dreams. (cheesy, but true.)

What a cool campus!
