Multnomah Falls

Is there anything more fun than to go to beautiful places with people that you love? I don't think so...


Ever since we visited Nick and Miriam three years ago after the Taggart reunion, we've been wanting to come back. We don't see Jack's family as much as we see mine, just because of proximity, but we have been lucky to see Nathan and Ben and their families in the last year. So we thought it was time for a Nick and Miriam trip! They were so kind to host us for a week and show us around their beautiful area! The girls loved being able to wander in and out of the house, see the neighbor's horses, chase the cat, jump on the trampoline, and snack on raspberries and grapes from the yard! We got to see their homeschool science class in action too, which was quite impressive. And we got to see new baby Drew! We admire Nick and Miriam so much and were glad they let us descend upon their busy life. We took lots of mental notes and made new goals for ourselves on the long drive home. Maddie said something in a recent email about loving a certain family she met in Argentina who seemed to her like a nearly perfect example of the proclamation on the family. That kept coming to my mind on this trip.
