San Diego Zoo

It was so fun to have Jack's dad stay with us. He slept on our couch for four nights. Molly was a bit shy at first but warmed up to him by the time he left. Once over breakfast she looked over her shoulder at him and said "He's cute." I'm not sure she knows exactly what cute means, but she says it about everything that she likes, so it's safe to say she loves her Grandpa Taggart :) On his last full day, we got to crash Nathan and Nikole's vacation and join them at the San Diego Zoo. I love that place! I hadn't been since seventh grade. Poor Jack has never been but had to go to work! Being a dad is the pits sometimes. Molly's favorite part of the day was the bus tour. She is way into animals right now and was super pleased that she could identify some of them. If she couldn't identify an animal, she would just make one up - a horse! a dinosaur! a doggie! When it was like a rhino or something. Alina and Molly were best buds, it was so cute. It was a super fun day, I'm so grateful we got that little surprise trip. It was so good to catch up with Nathan and Nikole and the kids. I married into such a great family.
