Don't be such a baby

I was feeling pretty bad for myself yesterday. Our car is in the shop for the third time since we've moved here and it's been real reeaaal expensive, and I was being a grumpy baby about it. But then my great husband did a fabulous FHE lesson in which we discussed all the wonderful things happening for us right now - and there are so many! We have lots of big blessings and lots of little blessings and I should just be really really grateful!

One of the big blessings is that I get to be a nanny. I have two jobs--a morning one, where I help a little girl get ready for school and drop her off. And also an afternoon one, which is much more involved. I buy groceries and go to the post office and pick up children and play and make dinner and much more. And it's really really fun.

Anyways, at my job this morning this is what the little girl said to me on our way to school--all in one breath:

"My friend's gray cat scratched the brown cat so they took the gray one to live in a red house and Michael Jackson died but not Justin Beaver, and I love Justin Beaver."

And then I got to come home to the cutest morning face (courtesy of Jack) and a sleeping kitten and I was just really happy.
