Stuff and things (as Jack would say)

Wednesday was the first day that it felt like fall. It even rained! Rain makes otherwise boring days into really, really great days. En route to work on Wednesday, we crossed a huge dip in the road that had become deep with rainwater. As we bravely crossed it in our little white car I couldn't help but feel a little bit like Maddie Ross crossing the river on her horse. Except she was going to avenge her father's death and I was just going to get dropped off at my nanny job and probably buy a dinosaur costume for a two-year-old boy. But, you know. Rivers are rivers. And jettas are sometimes horses.

Also - we went to the temple yesterday. I snapped that photo at the stoplight on our way home. See the reflection of the apple on the back of my phone in the window? I like to pretend it's a cloud that Heavenly Father placed there as a tribute to Steve.
