One of the moms I work for works for Disney, and she gave me the day off and two passes to Disneyland yesterday! It was kind of a last minute thing, but we got to meet up with our friends Josh and Tiersha who just happened to be in town for the weekend. It was so good to see them! They have season passes and know all the good places to eat, tricks to get on the rides faster, etc. We never waited for more than twenty minutes for a ride! One of the longest lines we stood in was for the Dole Whip soft serve. That was a first for me - it was really delicious, but I would still prefer chocolatey dessert over fruity dessert. Jack got to go on the Indiana Jones ride for the first time, which was kind of a spiritual experience for him. We ended our 13 hour day with the World of Color show, which was SO COOL. We used the heck out of those passes, and I'm so grateful for my kind employer and our wonderful friends!
Sweet! It looks so fun in the fall. Maybe we can go in January?! I'll start saving my dollars.
