...your husband walks two miles to Walmart to get ice cream so he can surprise you with brownie sundaes when you get home from work late!
He knows just how to please me. I'm a lucky girl.
Some other great things happening around here...
1. I love my family finance class. I love the homework and the lectures feel like five minutes long. (all two of them so far, ha). Who knew this was possible? Hopefully this love will last.
2. We love having LIVVY here! I fear that I will harass her because I'm just so excited to have a sis on campus. Sorry in advance, Livs. I'll try to stop calling.
3. I got a new job working at the computer labs on campus. Very exciting. But I kind of feel like I snuck in and any day my supervisors will realize how inadequate I am for the job and throw me out. All my co-workers are very naturally inclined to computerish things and I am not. Maybe it's just because I'm new? We shall see.
P.s. I would like to apologize to my readers (Alli, Ness, Mom, maybe Karin) for the lack of pictures, or of anything interesting, on my blog. However, I am not making any promises to change. I will continue to write if/when the urge strikes me, whether or not I have anything meaningful to say, and most likely without any pictures. So sorry (kind of).
apology accepted. but i'm going to start withholding tommy pictures until you improve. lol jk nbd (no big deal).
ReplyDeleteisn't jack a sweetie pie.
you have one more reader, I read all the NC boys wives blogs... it's the only way to have any idea if they're still alive and well ;) But now that just sounds creepy. At any rate, I enjoy your blog.
ReplyDeletep.s. cute apron
and don't forget your favorite cousin! You have more readers than you think Jo...does that mean more pictures?
ReplyDeleteHahaha I love that I get a shout-out. I love reading your blog. And you! :)
ReplyDeleteHey, I am a fellow reader! I love love love the updates.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteI met a guy in NJ - he worked for a data technology company. He went to work every day fearful that it might be his last. Why? Because his hiring had been a glitch in the system - he didn't know the first thing about the technology. He acted busy at work, tinkering with wires and equipment while pulling in a $100K+ salary! So, milk it while you can Jo!
I'm kidding, I'm sure you'll be great at your new job.
by the way jo, i forgot to comment on your post to let you know that i read it like every 5 seconds. no but seriously, i read it. also, i liked seeing you today. let's go get pumpkin smashes at jamby. loves.
ReplyDeleteWow, 2 miles for ice cream! Very sweet. The obvious question though, is--hadn't it melted by the time he got back. (Granted, Jack ran cross-country, so he probly made it back in under 9 minutes)
