A tramp in the orchards

On Saturday mom's only goal was to go to a beautiful place outside. With all those kids around, leaving the house is like organizing the olympics. It takes years of planning. We all piled into the cars in the afternoon, and dad led us in the direction of "grassy green hills," and also "somewhere new and exciting" at mother's request. (Sadly, Tori had other social engagements and could not join us. Her allergies probably would have made her suffer anyways.) After driving through dairy farms and orchards, the scenery went from flat to hilly, and that's when we stopped and parked on the side of the road. We trespassed through some orchards, but came to a barbed wire fence before we could get to the hill that we had our eye on. It was still a great little adventure. I'm crossing my fingers that mom and dad decide to move out to the country someday.
