Sisters
Molly has been slowly warming up to her role as big sister. The first few days were a little rough - many, many meltdowns and total distress every time I nursed Cora. But two weeks in, she has adjusted well and is completely obsessed with her baby sister. She fetches diapers and wipes, brings her blankies, reads her books, sets hair bows on her head, and loves to hold her. When she holds her she says "It's cute!" and "It's funny!" When Cora cries, Molly announces, "It's sad!" Cora tolerates a lot of face-smashing kisses and accidental kicks, hits, etc. They're only 20 months apart and they're going to be best buddies, I'm just sure of it.
P.S. Doesn't Cora look way older than 12 days in the last three photos? Sometimes I feel like I gave birth to a 2 month old! But it's hard to know if that's an accurate comment seeing as I'm her mother - to me she's looked liked a perfect little person since the first minute, but to everyone else she still looks like a little alien creature. Isn't that always the way with newborns and moms? ;)

Molly is hilarious. And Cora does look so much older! So so cute, these two.
