a tribute

Next week we will be moving out of our cute little brick home and into a lonely cinder block apartment above the office of a storage unit. It was something we applied for just for fun, but the more we learned about it the more we REALLY wanted it and it ended up working out! I really love where we live now. We have lovely neighbors, a semi-lovely yard, a cat we love dearly and may not be able to keep, and just an all-around cozy setup. But you just can't say no to a place that pays you to live there! And it's new and clean and big, which we are not accustomed to in the old place we live now. So today I took some pictures of our place after a little spring rain. I'm really going to miss it!

  1. What a happy little tribute. I love the tulips and daffodils? Is that what I saw? Nothing says spring like those. And my favorite was Paul's 1953 signature. The year my dad was born- aka- ancient. Just kidding dad ... if you read this.

  2. It sounds like you're taking advantage of a great opportunity. And I'm glad you'll have enough room for me and the boys to stay with you when we're there. Just kidding.
